The human brain allows us to perceive and respond to the world around us, and interrogate and reason is the structural substrate for conscious experience, the regulation of the conduct and the maintenance of the facility staff.One of the biggest challenges of the research is to discover the mysteries of the brain, from the operation of small molecules that form, even the basics of memory, intelligence and will. His knowledge will enable combat diseases that affect, improve quality of life and advance understanding of the man himself
PhD, Neuroscience & clinical psychology:
This is an inter-university PhD program shared among universities of Vigo, Santiago and A Coruña. The coordinator at the UVIGO is Dr. José Antonio Lamas.
This PhD program aims to train researchers in the areas of basic and applied Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry, prioritizing multidisciplinary activities. With this perspective, the program includes investigators assigned to different areas of knowledge of the fields of neurobiology, the Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology Clinical and Health and Psychiatry.
